Why is it good to meditate?

It may look like we are lacking so much in life but in fact, a life of completion and Truth has always been within us of all time. This realization answered my question about the true meaning of life and how to live truly. I am beyond grateful for the results that meditation brought me. This is why I can’t help but keep asking people, “Would you like to meditate with me?”

I remembered a story with a friend when I first meditated, so I wrote it down.

Hope this answers to your question.

—————————————-

I felt that my mind was disorganized and cluttered, so I decided to meditate. I asked a friend, “Would you like to meditate with me?”

My friend scoffed and said, “I’d much rather use my time to study to get myself certified and promoted”

But I still went to the meditation center diligently, fighting the temptation to just go straight home and rest after work.

After a few weeks of meditating on my cluttered mind through the method, my concentration improved noticeably. I was able to finish tasks that used to take 2-3 hours in just one hour, and thanks to that, I was able to study more, and people at work started recognizing me as a capable person.

I was happy with my meditation result.

I found myself struggling with making relationships with people. I decided to meditate on this and asked my friend again.

“Would you like to meditate with me?”

My friend shook her head and said, “I’d rather spend my time to be with people more than meditate.”

As I reflected on my relationships with the meditation method, I realized how self-centered I was and felt so sorry and grateful to all the people around me. With this realization, I did not need to improve on my people skills anymore. I was truly grateful to everyone around me from the bottom of my heart, and such mindset brought me much joy in making relationships with others.

I was happy with my meditation result.

I felt I was carrying on with my life without knowing its true meaning. I decided to meditate on this and asked my friend for the last time.

“Would you like to meditate with me?”

To my surprise, she accepted my suggestion.

“My mind is all over the place and I can never switch off. My thoughts keep rambling on even when I’m trying to sleep at night. And the more I spend time with people, the more conflicts I seem to create with them. I feel like my life is becoming a total mess, I really need help.”

We recalled our life lived, reflected and released through the meditation method. It was a time to completely turn our attention inward instead of looking at what’s outside of us. When we look outward, we see what we don’t have, but when we look inward, we see what we already have.

It may look like we are lacking so much in life but in fact, a life of completion and Truth has always been within us of all time. This realization answered my question about the true meaning of life and how to live truly.

I am beyond grateful for the results that meditation brought me. This is why I can’t help but keep asking people,

“Would you like to meditate with me?”

Indeed meditation saved my time and life. I hope this message reaches and helps you. 🙂
