Your questions have been in my diary for a while. As soon as I saw your question, I wanted to help. I couldn’t think of any ways to help, but I thought about it occasionally. This morning, I’m writing on my computer in my room. As if you were sitting next to me, I’m writing this.

I’m 47. It wasn’t long before I found purpose and direction in my life. Sadness and emptiness would come without warning and shake my heart.

“No need to hurry. No need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but oneself.”

by Virginia Woolf, A Room of One’s Own

As I look back, I’ve never had a major misfortune. I didn’t have any big misfortunes like death, accident, bankruptcy, or divorce, but I lived a life without purpose and always felt empty.

Luckily, in midlife, an opportunity arrived to resolve this feeling. My friend recommended this meditation to me. I’ve been able to reflect on my life through meditation.

Through meditation, I realize I’ve had unexplained sadness since I was 4, long before I was even a kid. No special event or accident happened. I became aware of the sadness of that huge abyss as a four-year-old one night, just like humans develop self-awareness as they grow up.

I spent all my time and energy fighting this huge sense of loss until I was in my 40s. Will I be able to overcome it if I study hard and succeed? Is that sadness going to go away if I have something beautiful and expensive? Can I forget that fear if I belong to a charming and delightful group of people? I lived to forget the sadness engraved in my brain by pursuing money, love, and fame.

The experts at meditation have helped me let go of sadness, anxiety, and depression. Every time I let go, my mind was at ease, and I felt secure for the first time. Though I didn’t try to forget my sorrow, my heart was at peace. And I found my own purpose and direction in life.

I’m not the same person I used to be. When I let go of the sadness and melancholy that plagued me in the past, I found my True self. You’re no longer drawn to sad feelings once you find your True mind. You can do it too. You’ve got a True mind too. You can always live happily when you find this mind. You can live the life you want.

The only person who has never existed and will never exist in this world is you. You are so special. We’re special too. There’s eternal happiness in you. That sadness can be cured. So I hope you find that eternal happiness inside you. Watch the video below and send us an email if you have any questions. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.
