Have you ever heard the saying βThe world is the mirror of my mindβ?
When I was at work last week, my colleague had some trouble with the settlement because we had changed the ERP system at the company. In fact, I provided her with my documents two days in advance and explained them once, but some parts my colleague didn’t process quickly because they were too busy, and another part he didn’t understand well due to the new system. As my colleague got more and more annoyed… I thought, ‘He gave the wrong information, why are you so annoyed?’ After adjusting the opinion in accordance with the budget, we decided to ask the company for the new invoices again. In my office, I heard my colleague complaining about how difficult it was. Although it wasn’t directly done to me, my heart swayed along with it.

After work, I came home, and when I looked back through meditation, I realized that the image of my colleague was who I was and that it was my mind. When things didn’t go my way, my coworkers showed me how annoyed I was. Even I, with a narrow mind, couldn’t accept an annoying colleague because of my right and wrong standards…π
I let go of my mind through meditation. As I throw it away, I become more objective about the situation and myself. In addition, I realized my colleague tried to be kind to me, but he was annoyed because he wasn’t familiar with the system.
If it was me in the past, I would have been in a bad mood all day, or even more days. But as I always emptied my mind through meditation, I have a happy life on a new day every day. Also, the ability to accept and the skills to communicate with others are improving. I think I am becoming wiser at work thanks to meditation.π»πβ€π₯°
