You probably want to forget the past because it feels like a burden or a negative memory to you. If you want it to no longer be a burden, you must change your perspective. In order to change your perspective, you must be able to reflect on yourself in the past time and repent your life. The best way to do it is meditation.

Most people are self-centered in the world and don’t know the meaning and purpose of life. We live by making choices that satisfy our wants and desires.

Those I know who have already passed away all looked different from usual just before death, when I think of them now. Their eyes were much warmer and they were more friendly than before. Could you guess what they felt?

My grandma preferred male grandchildren and didn’t care for female grandchildren. For me, it was hurtful and upsetting. However, when I visited her a few weeks before she passed away, she was not the grandmother I knew. Even though she didn’t say anything, her face expressed that she was sorry and repented for something.

This was not someone who was always confident, but a grandmother who looked weak and regretful about her past. She gave me pocket money for the first time. She even shed some tears.

If we regret the past because we had a different perspective right before we died, we could live a life without regret if we changed our perspective much earlier. If you want to live a life that moves forward, you should look back on the past and repent of it so it is no longer a burden in your heart.

Meditation enables you to view your life objectively and to truly understand it by shifting from a perspective that is locked in your body to a perspective that is beyond it. By doing so, you can release yourself from the past and let go of it. This means you will be transformed and so will your world.

While meditating, I was able to find my faults and contradictions and release the burdens of the past that were caused by them. Now, even if any negative thoughts come up with me, I am not embarrassed. The reason why I was embarrassed and couldn’t admit it when my arrogant mind came up from me in the past was because I was arrogant.

As I look at myself objectively, I can be honest about my heart and feel free. And I can let it go from my mind.

You have the ability to see your inner self. Hopefully you will be able to release all the past in you and let it go. A new start for you! Here is a video that may help you.
